The new BMW 7 Series.

The latest release by BMW in its very popular seven series seems to be the best to date – it’s truly way ahead of the pack in its class and is a luxury car with a capital “L” – in every sense of the word.

Power

Under the hood is bigger and better than any previous effort in the seven series – the 750iL boasts a mighty 400 horsepower (which is more than 40 more horses than before) and can rocket from zero to sixty in less than five seconds.  Although the miles per gallon of the new  4.4 liter V8 engine are a bit modest in terms of conservation (15 city and 23 highway), they are still competitive among the big boys in the luxury class.

Comfort

The new 750iL is big in terms of power, but the older versions often came under a lot of criticism when it came to the interior.  Larger bodied individuals often passed up previous cars in the seven series even though the power and handling were second to none, simply because they didn’t feel there was enough room for them in the cockpit.  The previous version of the seven series also came under some criticism for not having the seat adjustments in positions that were convenient enough for a larger person to adjust without a struggle.

The new 750iL means to change all the criticisms of its interior by making the cab much roomier in terms of both head and leg room, and they’ve also reconfigured the placement of all of the cars instruments to make the overall driving experience more comfortable for everyone who gets inside.

The seven series is usually a chauffeur driven car but even the dignitaries will want to get a drive as often as possible.

Behind the Wheel

Incredible, almost space age options take the driving experience and the luxury car’s handling to unimaginable new levels. As ever the number of choices becomes more dream world like with each generation: night vision, side view cameras, rear wheel drive, and pedestrian detection.

Driving dynamics are taken to another level with improved control with individually operating electronic dampers as well as anti-roll technology. The benefits of advanced electronics is that the car is become evident in the wet where the big 7 is up for the challenge.

BMW has always been a force to be reckoned with in the world of luxury cars, but even they seem to have outdone themselves with the new 750iL.For eighty thousand dollars you get more than the price value as it is a real pleasure to be in this car whether it is moving or standing still.

What You Need To Do To Feature Car in Magazine

BMW Auto

Featuring your car in Car Magazines can have many advantages to Car Owners.

First, it will give a good documentation of your modified car for your effort and secondly, it
will give a good advertising media for your car if you want to sell it.

However, since there are millions of automobiles out there on the road, how can one attract the attention of Car Magazine to feature your modified car?

Here are some tips and guides on How to Feature your car in magazines by a BMW car owner whose BMW M3 manual was featured in 3 Car Magazines.

1. BE the FIRST (NEWS SELLS)

Car magazines works like printed media, they need news to sell more of their magazines, hence attract their attention, you need to make news for them. If your car has the first new modifications from a car tuner, that would be ideal as it will create news and attention of readers.

2. BE DIFFERENT: create a whole unique car:

Your best bet is to start off with your mind to create something unusual but still to your own liking and your taste. You don’t want to create a special car only to hate it after the modifications. People want to see something unique. “Uniqueness” always catches attention. But remember to do it tastefully otherwise it will only attract negative comments. Be creative, don’t limit yourself to parts from one car tuner, you may mix with products of other car tuners or even from other makes of car tuning companies.

3. CUSTOMISED MODIFICATIONS: ATTENTION TO DETAIL:

Custom modifications attracts attention, it shows creativity and uniqueness too, that nobody else’s has. Car Magazines are eager to showcase new customized parts to the world and people will want to buy the magazines to read and to check out the new parts.

4. BRIGHT COLOURS:

Car magazines love BRIGHT colored car, so if your modified car is of that, you have a point ahead of other car owners. You may have noticed this in all other car cover magazines too. So if you plan to repaint your car, catch attention and make it to the cover, choose bright! (special note: choose a bright color that you can live with!)

5. CONTACT YOUR CAR MAGAZINES:

Well you need initiate to let the magazines know that you have a special car to feature. Find the best magazine that suit your car theme or make and contact them. If your car is modified by a tuning company, you may ask your tuner to call the Car Magazines as they will have direct contacts to the publishers.

If you have a tastefully tuned car, many car magazines are more than willing to feature it. Just think of it this way, Car magazines need cars to feature in their magazines every month! (At least 4 feature cars per month). How are they going to find these new cars? If you have one and feel like getting it featured, take some good photos now and email them. You just have to let Car publishers know of the existence of your Unique Car. Good Luck!

A Car Auction is Your Best Choice for a Good Deal

It can be difficult finding a car you like at a price that’s affordable. At a dealership, you have to buy what’s available on the lot at the price they choose to sell it for. However, one buying option that’s often overlooked is a public auto auction.

What is an auto auction? It’s an event where both individuals and dealers can purchase vehicles by bidding on them. The main benefit is that you are more in control of the situation.

Is the bidding price getting too high for your wallet? Just stop. Or perhaps no one else is interested in that custom sports car, and you can pick it up for next to nothing. You’re not subject to the dictates of the dealer. Buy your vehicle like they do and don’t pay the middleman fee.

There are two ways you can buy a vehicle from a public auto auction. Frequently, people will go to the auction in person. You stand there with everyone else who is hoping to get a good deal on a car. To bid on the vehicle you want, you lift up your bid paddle. The last person to bid is the winner.

Another option for placing your bid is through the internet. An online auto auction is gaining in popularity as a convenient way to buy a car. It’s becoming more common for auction houses to have a real time, online bidding system.

Say for example that the auction that interests you is too far away to travel to. However, you can bid on the car of your dreams from the comfort of your own home. You’re bidding on the car the same as if you were at the auction in person. You simply enter your bids via your computer instead of using a paddle. Many people find it preferable to standing in the crowd and holding up their paddle.

It’s possible to get a real bargain at an auto auction. Some of them sell off cars that have been donated and offer them at no minimum bid. However, there’s likely a reason why the vehicle was given away. It probably needs a lot of work. However, if you’re mechanically inclined, it can be a great way to save a lot of money.

It’s an entirely new approach to buying a vehicle when you visit a car auction. You only bid on the vehicle you want, and you don’t have to bid any higher than your budget allows you to. You can buy your car the same way the dealers do and save yourself some money.
